My Story

When I was born, I had all odds stacked against me. I was premature, weighing in at a mere 1 pound, 10 ounces. Doctors said I would have a lengthy medical history, if I even survived. Scary stuff! I am happy to say that with the help of a fantastic medical team during my stay in the NICU, my amazing family who never left my side, and a ton of prayers, I came out on top!

I am here for a purpose. Though, it took me a long time to figure out what my place in life was. I went to college completely confused and relied on others to basically tell me what I "should" be majoring in. I followed the crowd and dabbled in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, and apparel merchandising, which I graduated with a degree in. After a couple years of having trouble finding a job in my field of Apparel Merchandising, I decided it was time to buckle down and go back to school.

Tossing around ideas from Social Work to Child Development, I applied and was accepted to a local University. I began volunteering on the pediatric cardiology unit of a children's hospital, and jumped in to my new major in Child Development with the intent to be a Child Life Specialist in the hospital. It didn't take long before I switched my major AGAIN! This time to nursing. Nursing is my first passion. What an honor to say you impacted so many people's lives, and them yours, in some of their most vulnerable times.

So, it goes without saying that trying my hand at being a Beachbody Coach was inevitable, once I found out about the opportunity. Why wouldn't I want to help others live healthy, fulfilling lives so they can live longer for themselves and their families?! Not to mention, I am able to work on my own health and fitness journey, while making a second income to help my family live life by design.

This experience has changed me as a person, inside and out. I am the happiest, healthiest, and most optimistic I have ever been... and am helping others become that way, too. It's such a fulfilling position to be in.

I am truly blessed.
